Soda Shop Stop

As we set out on our first trip with our new RV, the trip was planned so that we did a good bit of driving to get into our voyage. A lunch stop was a necessity, however, and the Tinsley-Bible Pharmacy and Soda Fountain had popped up in the Roadtrippers app so we decided to give it a try.

While still a working drug store, it seems like the Soda Fountain/lunch counter is the main draw these days. A handful of wooden dining booths sit behind the few rows of goods while along the back and side walls you'll find original pharmaceutical items preserved for history.

A wonderfully spry waitress, who likely has been on staff for decades, took our order for sandwiches while we wandered the various displays around the store. The sandwiches were simple, yet incredible. While ice cream and other desserts from the fountain were available, neither of us indulged as we both had gotten our fill from the sandwiches.

Tinsley-Bible is located in a quaint downtown area that probably deserved a bit more exploration but we had plans for a few other stops so we headed on our way.
